Incident Report

Sunday 08/16/2026 For our new followers, the following scanner traffic occurred during the day while I was away from the scanners. We do record everything and check the recordings when we can so that you don't miss the happenings in our counties. Look at it like a day old newspaper. We do include timestamps when they are available. Erath County 11:15 am Erath and Morgan Mill Fire were paged to US281N near Private Road 1717 for a report of a postal van that caught on fire. The driver was out of the vehicle. Morgan Mill unit on the scene reported that the vehicle was fully involved. This occurred in the southbound lane just north of Morgan Mill. ____________ Erath County 12:03 pm EMS and Selden Fire were paged to Rough Creek Lodge on PR1256 for a report of a female that fell off a horse. The patient was transported to Stephenville ER. _____________ Erath County Erath and Lingleville Fire were paged to CR415 near PR935 for a report of a grass fire. The initial report was that there was a structure in danger. Stephenville Fire responds also. The fire was put out, and the structure was not affected. _____________ Dublin Dublin and Harbin Fire were paged to CR351 near CR380 for a report of a minor traffic accident. Did not hear of any injuries. _____________ Erath County Erath and Lingleville Fire were paged to CR403. A caller reported smoke but did not see any flames. This was a stack of hay bales that caught fire. Fire units were on the scene for quite a while. No news to report for Comanche County that has not already been reported.
